We cruised on long rivers, climbed up to precipitous canopy walks, walked into the forest, sunk into gloopy mud, dodged leeches and and wandered over boardwalks – oh and we got soaked by torrential downpours on some occasions.
Here are some of the extraordinary and some ordinary sights we saw.

The skies were full of black nest swiftlets, purple Herons and Hornbills of many types, the Oriental Pied, the Rhinoceros, the Bushy Crested and White Crowned, which is rare. The skittish but beautifully coloured kingfishers, Buffy Fish Owls, the Wallace Hawk Eagle, the Black Eagle and many Serpent Eagles even one catching a snake. Storm’s Stork, Darters and a crested Goshawk to name but some of the many we saw.
