Raja Ampat

In all its glory. Towering rocks covered in ferns, betel nut palms, many pitcher plants and flowering orchids. Rocks like Xmas trees, sheer faces and azure waters. Pretty much uninhabitable. A National Park. The snorkelling was great along an extensive reef where a coral tablecloth caught my eye extending out in the deep underneath as if waiting for guests. A clam of velvety green and pink. And many sea squirts. Purple penis like funnels, some orange with extensive veining and some yellow. We swam through many shoals of darting fish.

Rocks like Xmas trees with sparkler on top!
Pitcher plants everywhere.
Shoals of tiny fish all around us.

    1. Hi Fran, Yes gorgeous and I will explore for you. Also many thanks for your reply. It helped a lot and I have upgraded on the WordPress package but also freed up some space on my Media Library both of which seemed to have done the trick and enabled me to blog again. x M

Hi Marina. I have been following your journey through your posts on facebook. Just wonderful! These last photographs are a visual feast! I love rock formations in particular. Your ‘rock of a Christmas tree’ is spectacular! The strata! Amazing!
