We were in Thorny Bush Nature Reserve where we spent time spotting birds in the trees and animals at the waterholes. Game drives with our guide Tian and our tracker Sian were the order of the day and my goodness they did not disappoint.

There was a family of elephants with a baby. A big male bull and some females. One of them was on musth, and we had to be super careful. They can be quite volatile. We watched the big bull who was ginormous eating his way through a log!

The Big Five in a day with a wild youth thrown in for good measure.
