Dougall is our excuse and off we go to the bikeways and laneways near our house. Today, the first day of 2019 was particularly quiet and serene. A gorgeous Aussie day and as the evening turned to night we saw the bats heading out to dinner over the most magnificent night sky. A good way for them to start their day as we were ending ours.
