Yesterday morning we had a new visitor in the house. We have no idea how and where she/ he may have come from but this is her/ his picture. Only grateful that Tara did not get to her before we did !

Oh it was wonderful. We lit a whole lot of candles and diyas and ate too much! One good thing was that this year there was much lesser smoke and noise 🙂

Good to hear that. It was my first and I could barely hear myself speak the noise was so defeaning, so encouraging that you think there was less of the firecrackers going off. They detract so much from the essence of the festival dont you think let alone the danger, pollution factor.Thanks for sharing Ramit MM
